Job Description:

The Pediatric Endocrinologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care to children and adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes and other pediatric endocrine disorders. The role also involves active participation in research, academic teaching, program development, and leadership activities within the Centre of Excellence for Type 1 Diabetes at HCJMRI.

Key Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Provide OPD and IPD care for pediatric diabetes and endocrine disorders

  • Manage newly diagnosed cases, acute complications (including DKA), and long-term follow-up

  • Prescribe and monitor insulin therapies (MDI, insulin pumps, hybrid closed-loop systems)

  • Utilize Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) and diabetes technologies

  • Participate in multidisciplinary care with dietitians, educators, psychologists, and nurses
